Fun Events at Family Dog Center in La Crosse, WI
Visit Family Dog Center during any one of our special events and see what the hype is all about.
We host doggie birthday parties, puppy camps, Kids Kamp, Halloween Parties, Christmas parties with Santa visits and photos and fund-rasising events. Please check out our calendar of events for dates and times.
Puppy Camp Starts Monday, September 9th (4 Weeks $279) 9AM-2 PM
Puppy camp 1 is designed for puppies up to 20 weeks at start of camp. Your puppy will come for 4 consecutive weeks to learn basic manners and socialization skills. This is an excellent way to get your pup off to a good start. A detailed report card will be given at the end of each session. Please check for scheduled dates.
Puppy camp 2 is a 4 week session for puppies from 5 months to 11 months at start of camp. Your puppy will work on basic manners both new and enhance some already learned ones. They will also be introduced to some fitness equipment and be involved in our daycare program throughout their day with us. You will receive a nice detailed progress report upon pick up each week. Please see schedule for dates.
Kids K9 Kamp
Two fun-filled days of dog-related activities for children age 7-12 and their dog at least 6 months of age. Campers are welcome to bring their own dog to camp provided they are current on vaccinations and do not display any reactivity or aggression towards other dogs or people. We can borrow dogs to those who either don't have their own dog or their dog does not fit the criteria for attending camp.
Children will participate in obedience, agility, fitness, safety activities as well enjoy multiple crafts, games, scavenger hunt, hikes and more.
Holiday Party
We get together with our dogs to relieve some of the holiday stress and enjoy our four-legged friends and other dog lovers. Good food, games and conversation make for a fun time. Santa may even arrive with gifts for all in attendance.
Monthly Retail Specials and Promos-September: Buy one get one From Cruchy O’s treats and also Tuesday Treat Day-all dogs attending daycare on any Tuesday in September will receive a cup of frozen yogurt

Kids K9 Kamp
Two fun-filled days of dog-related activities for children age 7-12 and their dog at least 6 months of age. Adult K9 Kamp--Kids Kamp is so popular that adults have been asking for an adult camp. We all meet at Family Dog Center for some activities and go off site for hiking, scavenger hunt and more. Reservations are required and availability is limited. Cost-$50.00 per person per day or $75 for all 3 days.. Call to sign up-50% deposit required-if your plans change, a 2 week cancellation is needed for refund.
Only well mannered dogs are allowed to participate and must have a reliable recall if participating in any off-leash activities. Unfortunately, reactive dogs to people or other dogs are not allowed.

- We are a family-owned and operated business which is a bonus to those who are not fond of the corporate world. You can enjoy some flexibility in scheduling, fun work envirnonment, competitive wages with a sign on bonus for full-time positions and even bring your dog to work with you.
- All positions require some weekends and holidays with starting pay $12-14 per hour based on experience.
