Sign up in April for Board & Train and receive one free obedience class after completion of their Board & Train session with us!
We offer a great solution for you if you do not have the time to train your dog or are needing help with basic training or behavioral issues.
Our board and train is just that—You drop your dog off with us for a minimum of 2 weeks and we will work with your dog to help you reach your training goal. We will meet with you for an individual consultation and then devise the training program specifically to your dog’s needs.
You provide your dog, food, and any special items for them to enjoy in their suites and we will do the work for you. Once your dog has successfully completed his basic training with us, you will be involved in the training and learn how to continue with the training at home.
Included with the board and train program is a minimum of 2 trainings sessions after your dog is released from the training program to review progress and make any necessary adjustments in training and address any questions or concerns that arise.
Please call for more details.
Each year, the number of ticks increases and so do the diseases associated with them. Make sure you and your family take as many precautions as possible to avoid tick-borne disease.
Ticks are more prevalent in tall grass... but they are everywhere... in the lawn, on pavement, on beaches... they are relentless. If you are gardening, in tall or remote areas, or hiking, be sure to cover up as much as you can. Keep your pants tucked into your socks or boots. Wear long sleeves if possible. Perform tick checks every couple of hours.
Try to remove ticks from your clothing, person or pet before going in the house. When you head indoors, take off your clothing and immediately put it in the dryer to kill any ticks that may be lingering. They cannot compete with the high heat. Perform another tick check.
Make sure you have your Tick Key™ with you at all times. Keep it on your key chain, in your first aid kit. Early and proper removal will help avoid tick-borne disease.
Watch for signs. Only 50 percent of all tick bites will present a bullseye for Lyme Disease. Feeling tired? Flu-like symptoms? Achy joints? Get tested. Early diagnosis is extremely important. Lyme Disease and other tick-borne disease can wreak havoc the longer it goes without diagnosis.

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge----The hardest
part of loving a pet is saying goodbye and we have had to say good bye to
several of our four-legged buddies over the past few weeks. Our hearts go
out to their families and we express our deepest sympathies to everyone
knowing what a difficult time this is for everyone. Hoping you can find
comfort with the fact that the love you shared will always remain in your
heart.
